V I O L E T C A S T O R - for stagnation in belly, womb or breast tissue

€32.00

Spring is the season of violets and of removing stagnation. I've made a very limited amount of Violet infused Castor oil. This oil is made specifically for doing castor oil packs* on the belly. Castor oil is a thick, sticky oil that moves deep, and releases stagnation. For thousands of years, castor oil has been used in many cultures for the natural healing of the reproductive system.

One of the key ingredients in this oil is violet leaf. Violet leaves have been traditionally used to nourish and support women’s reproductive tissues, and are also used for liver and intestinal well being. Violet is known to ease grief, slowly dissolving hardness in the glandular and lymphatic channels. “Some call violet, with her distinctively heart-shaped leaves, heart’s ease, and indeed she is a plant with a compassionate heart.[...] With violet as a herbal ally, feelings flow rather than hardening in or becoming trapped in the tissues of the lungs, breasts and belly.” [Judith Berger]

You can use this oil each month a few days before menstruating to support painful or scanty menstruation. It can also be applied on the liver area to cool and detoxify the liver. Don’t use this oil if you’re having heavy periods or thin stools, or when pregnant.

100ml glass bottle

*Castor oil pack simply explained; you warm up a little bit of oil, gently apply it on the area you want to treat, cover the area with some (old cotton/molton) cloth, and a warm water bottle and lay down for about 20 minutes.
